TSCP was founded in autumn 2022 through the meeting of Stefano Grasso and Alessio Dal Checco.

Both rooted in jazz and active in multiple musical settings, they share an approach centered on dedication to sound as a vehicle for expressing their love, pain, and gratitude for life.

The duo pursues a systematic exploration of improvised music, integrating different languages and seeking a concept of “total music” where spontaneous reaction coexists with premeditated structures, and where constraint and freedom are treated as essential, coexisting compositional elements.

Their debut album Truth Seeker (MUPE Records, 2023) was presented at Biko (Milan), Novara Jazz Festival 2025, and Hundred Years Gallery (London).

Their second album is scheduled for release in early 2026.

Since 2025 TSCP is part of the production center WeStart.
